Polar FT4 Love this!
This watch really keeps me motivated to work my hardest in the gym. It is pretty simple to use.

Great heart rate monitor watch. I'm a huge polar fan and this model does it all and it is easy to operate. Makes my workouts very effective and I can measure just how much ; ) its a must have.
Polar FT4 Simple and Perfect!
This Heart Rate Monitor is just a basic one. It does what it says and tracks your heart rate. You do need to push a button to scroll through 4 different screens (Heart rate, Calorie burn, heart rate range, and time of day and amount of time worked out so far). I have a Garmin that has all the bells and whistles but I really just needed one that would track my Heart Rate and give me an accurate calorie burn. If that is what you are looking for then this is for you!! The instructions are a little lacking, but it really isn't that hard to figure out. There are really only three things you can do (view past work outs, start a new work out, or change your user information).
I also use this EVERY DAY!! I don't go a single day with out using. The only complaint if you can call it that is the metal part of the strap 'sometimes' digs into my side after my work out and when I am sitting down. But I think that is more the placement of the strap than anything.

For the beginner all the way to the serious runner this is a great add-on to your daily routine, the bpm it's ECG quality very accurate and easy to read, the watch its almost weightless and the strap very comfortable, but the best part is the price!!!!

I upgraded to this from a basic Sportline touch-the-metal watch monitor after I switched to running from walking. I have heart disease, so I try to keep my heart rate in a very specific range, and sweating and humidity would render my Sportline watch useless. This Polar FT4 has never failed to give a reading after a month of use in sweltering conditions. What is even better is that I only paid about half of what I expected to pay for a monitor with a chest strap. I appears to me that the price difference may be due to the fact that this monitor does not allow you to automatically transmit workout data to the web, but this is not important to me.

I've had it for about a week now, and it's really great to be able to track my progress: calories burned, time, heart rate, etc. I'd recommend this as a starter for anyone who's looking to start working our more regularly, and wants a bit more motivation/encouragement.
This isn't as fancy as others that can automatically log your progress on your polar profile online, but if you don't mind taking the time to enter it manually, this is a great starter!!! I'd recommend it!
Polar FT4 Best Buy, Excellent and Simple
As a beginner, I couldn't be more satisfied with the FT4. It's simple to use and also looks pretty with any wear! My only suggestion would be to have the distance monitor.
Polar FT4 Heart Rate Monitor Good Basic.
This is a good basic HRM. It tells you calories burned (which I wanted) and it helps you exercise in your target zone. I do have to say that once I started using this and putting my data in on the Polar Personal trainer web site, I realized I wanted a HRM that does much more. So about a month later I purchased the FT60. So my recommendation is if you are looking for a basic HRM for calories burned, this is the model for you. If you exercise regularly and is serious about it or about maximizing your exercise look at an upgrade model.

I love this! After doing a ton of research I finally decided to go with this one and I'm so glad I did. It's easy to use and seems very accurate, I use if everyday when I exercise =] It's not too bulky and I like the color. It is water resistant however DON'T press any buttons while in the water. It's a lot cheaper here, I went to a store to look and it was nearly $100.

This monitor is not only stylish, but also effective at targeting a zone to maximize workouts! I enjoy having all my data from my workout at such easy access and the fact that they are stored on the watch till you get ready to delete them allows me to look back and see which workouts were most effective. Amazing product and great price!!!
