Polar FT4F Just what I was looking for.
I am very happy with my Polar FT4 HRM. I wanted something to make myself push harder and know when I need to step things up. I mainly wanted to get an idea of my calorie burn from the different workouts that I do. This does just that and it's so simple to setup. The chest strap is very comfortable and I usually forget it's there. I had purchased the bodybugg twice before because I was looking for something to tell me about my calorie burn, but I ultimately returned it each time. The computer program is not user friendly & it just became more of an expensive hassle than anything, especially considering the bodybugg is only functional as long as you're a paid subscriber to the program. (You need to connect to the program to update your settings to the bodybugg, such as weight, that way it is accuarate.) With the Polar FT4, you just change your settings right on your watch and you're all set. I definitely recommend this purchase, not to mention it's a great price on Amazon.

I love my Polar FT4. It is lightweight and SOOOO easy to use. The chest strap is very easy to adjust and put on. There isn't a lot of confusing screens to go through to use the watch part of it. When you first turn it on, it walks you through set up. It is easy to see your heart rate and calorie burn while wearing it. And it saves your data so you can go back through it later (plus you can manually input your data onto the website and review it whenever you want). Also, very easy to find the screen when you need to go back and update your weight info. I definitely recommend this item!!

This product is super easy to use and I am not the most technical person in the world. This watch and heart monitor were recommended to me by my trainer and I have been nothing but happy with it. It is helpful as a training tool and incredibly gratifying when one is working hard to get fit. Well worth the price.

I bought this monitor because I was taking a certification class and a heart rate monitor was one of the items suggested on the bring to class list. I am not big in heart rate training but I have an extremely difficult time taking my pulse to get a near accurate number. I like this monitor because I do not have to do any conversions to receive the reading. As the wear, you have the option of pausing then continuing a workout. The wear can choose to have alerts signal then when they are on and off target. Transmitor belt is not the standard hard plastic which makse it feel better and more comfortable than the rubber. The actual watch is a nice bronze color which is good for me because there are times when black is not the least bit exciting. I have not used the monitor in water as I am not big on water sports. I use the monitor while riding my bike and it is interesting to see the various reading. At this stage in my life, I have no need for my monitor to be posted online, although that option is available. I also do not need a GPS or the many other options being offwred with some of the more pricey heart rate monitors but I do not consider myself an elite athlete. I am simply a female doing a little physical activity to feel good. I like this heart rate monitor. It does its job and it is pretty.

This is my very first heart rate monitor and I've been using it daily for about a month now with my P90X workouts. I read the on-line user's manual (very short) while it was being shipped and once it arrived I found it very easy to operate (I was concerned because some of the reviews I read said that it was difficult to operate--I did not have that experience at all). I like the calorie counter feature, but I have no way to calibrate it to know how accurate it is. The one feature I wish it had is a simple stopwatch with laps that can be operated without wearing the transmitter. Overall, very pleased.

This product was so easy to use and works great every time! My friend got me hooked on it and now i can't even work out without it! It is so accurate and reliable! Best product, can't beat the price! I recommend this for anyone who is serious about weight loss.
